Key purpose of the Job

The Supply Chain function contains the most significant expenditure of the organization (on Raw Materials and Direct Services). Furthermore, there are significant regulatory expectations surrounding the scope of the function as demanded by our Customers and the countries to which we export. Hence, the Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Governance plays a proactive and pivotal role in ensuring measures are in place to safeguard the organization from associated risks in the Supply Chain function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier master governance – Ensuring that the processes of onboarding, deactivation, and reactivation of raw material suppliers are carried out in alignment with group policy and procedures
  2. Product regulatory governance – Ensuring that Brandix sourcing is free from restricted substances and conforms to standards and certifications as stipulated by customers and/or country regulations
  3. Supply chain traceability governance – Ensuring that sources of supply are aligned with standards as stipulated by customers and destination country regulations
  4. Group ESG requirements – Addressing governance requirements from Brandix's ESG division related to the Supply Chain function
  5. Enterprise risk governance – Acting as the risk champion for the assessment and governance of Supply Chain-related enterprise risks

Education

University degree or equivalent professional qualification

Experience

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a corporate environment, either in sourcing and procurement or ESG roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a proactive interest in learning technology that supports self-service business intelligence (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps)
Clear and concise communication skills
A high level of discipline, focus, and adherence to established SOPs and timelines
Aspiration, affinity, and passion to pursue a career in the ESG space
