Key purpose of the Job

The Factory Accountant manages factory finances, including budgeting and overheads, while supporting value creation, ensuring controls and audit compliance, overseeing materials and risks, and following Health & Safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor plant budget vs. targets; support top- and bottom-line goals.​

  • Optimize raw materials, order-to-ship, and manage excess per SOPs.​

  • Track overheads vs. targets; drive cost improvements.​

  • Support value creation; ensure controls, reporting, and compliance.

Education

Charted Institute Of Management Accountants (CIMA) or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Financial/ Business Management ​

Experience

3 to 4+ years of relevant experience with a strong knowledge of financial budgeting, overhead management and financial accounting
Sound understanding of factory operational processes
