Key purpose of the Job
The Graduate Trainee – Automation & Innovation is responsible for supporting the design, development, and simulation of automation solutions and prototype modules, and assisting in the implementation of innovative improvements in bulk manufacturing to optimize SMV, cost efficiency, and throughput time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IE and Technical teams in identifying simple automation opportunities based on samples and sketches
- Assist in designing, testing, and simulating basic automated processes and machinery
- Help ensure automation solutions are delivered on time for sampling and bulk production
- Coordinate with external suppliers and workshops under guidance to meet technical and timeline requirements
- Support project planning, basic cost estimates, and preparation of progress updates
- Follow up automation developments through to bulk implementation with proper handover
- Assist in reviewing seasonal developments and common production operations to improve efficiency and throughput time
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechatronics
Experience
Good knowledge in 3D Mechanical designing (Solid works Designing)
Good communication skills.
