Key purpose of the Job

As the Intern - Quality Assurance, you will be reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance of the plant. You will be responsible for meeting the garment quality standards as per the end buyer requirement. You will be required to work closely with the Quality and Production teams, to deliver the final product in the required quality. You will also be required to follow up and ensure that the Production team adheres to all guidelines to deliver in line with the expected quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up and conduct Risk Assessment meeting (RA) and update 3Ws 
  • Validate and streamline entire SBU quality process according to the customer manual
  • Follow up and ensure that the Production team adheres to all guidelines to deliver in line with the expected quality standards
  • Update customer quality changes and align entire Quality team
  • Follow up and respond to all customer quality claims and call out 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering/Textile Technology. in Mathematics/ Clothing Technology

Experience

Good team player with excellent communication skills.
Sound MS Excel knowledge
Have a Basic understanding of fabric, trims and garments with various finishes and QA practices, and possess knowledge in constructions, patterns, sampling and safety procedures
Effective time management, skill prioritization capabilities and ability to perform under pressure by managing the QA team.
