Key purpose of the Job

The Manager - Human Resources is responsible for fostering harmonious employee relations and overseeing all personnel-related activities for staff and associates within the SBU. This role involves developing and executing the Works HR strategy across geographies, while ensuring professional engagement with government bodies and labour authorities. A critical aspect of the role is ensuring full statutory compliance. Additionally, the role holder is accountable for carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s Health & Safety guidelines, instructions, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Works HR strategy for the SBU, ensuring alignment with business goals and Group HR long-range plans.
  • Drive consistent execution of Works HR initiatives across all factories within the SBU, ensuring operational effectiveness and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory regulations across the SBU, while overseeing the rollout of Group-level HR programs and initiatives.
  • Lead employee engagement, welfare, and retention efforts, including grievance handling, productivity improvement, and satisfaction surveys.
  • Manage the SBU Works HR team by setting clear objectives, coaching performance, and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Oversee HR operations such as manpower planning, payroll coordination, and audit processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely issue resolution.

Education

Masters / Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management

Experience

At least 5+ years of experience in leading the Works HR function in large plant is mandatory
