Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager – Garment Technology is responsible for ensuring theachievement of Technical/Fit & Construction KPIs for the assignedcustomer category. The role holder collaborates with the customer/buyinghouse technical teams and internal stakeholders on technical aspects,including style clarifications, development risk assessment, constructionvalidation, pattern making, consumption costing, sampledevelopment/approvals, and effective production handover.​​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and deploying Technical/Fit & Construction objectives​
  • Driving the technical aspects of Product Development, including risk assessment, construction, validation pattern development, consumption, costing, and sample development/approvals​
  • Ensuring the achievement of Production Handover/Integration objectives​
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve functional KPIs
  • Manage a team of garment technologists and pattern technologists.

Education

Possess a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Clothing Technology​

Experience

6 to 9+ years of experience in Product Development with a strong exposure to Technical/Fit & Construction concepts and best practices
