Key purpose of the Job
The R&D Technologist is responsible for driving implementation of the Research & Development projects for the assigned product category.Ensure development of concepts that matches the customer requirements and filling market gaps by conducting experiments, adopting new methodologies and new materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead identification of Advanced Concepts / Product Innovation ideas and R&D projects for the assigned product category through effective product & market research / analysis
- Drive implementation of the R&D projects in the product category, including conceptualization, commercialization, and development of advanced concepts
- Implementation of Technology R&D projects, including research of new technologies, testing, roll out.
- Collaborate with the Customers, suppliers and internal teams for realization of the R&D objectives
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Designing or Clothing Technology or Business Administration or Marketing
Experience
8 to 10+ years’ experience in Apparel & Design Development with strong knowledge of design and R&D process with demonstrated experience in technology for a product line
