Key purpose of the Job
The Executive - Innovation carries out Develop new technology applicationson garment industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the most effective method of technology product constructions, working with relevant stakeholders to create Components/garments that are in alignment with the design intent and the product development process, and ensure that Component specifications are incorporated into the relevant parameter settings.
- Work with R&D Engineers on Component validations for the final applications.
- Perform the required testing to verify the suitability of the proposed solution, machine and method for the relevant application/material combination.
- Proactively understand technology requirements of new projects & growth platforms and develop innovative approaches to solving technical challenges to generate meaningful resolutions.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
Education
B.Sc or NDT in Chemical & Process engineering or Mechanical/ Textile/ Manufacturing Engineering or Material Science
Experience
Sound knowledge in technological product development (Bonding and other related technologies) will be an added advantage
