Key purpose of the Job

As the Graduate Trainee - Designer, you will assist in managing the product development process. This includes supporting tasks related to costing, sample creation, raw material and color developments, T&A (Time and Action) management, and development-related systems. You will work closely with cross-functional internal teams to help maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing research, maintenance and support for assigned departmental projects and tasks
  • Concept development , creating technical sketch’s( CAD’s on Illustrator) and BOM creations and translating into samples
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams and preparing for seasonal presentations.​

Education

Graduate in the field of Fashion Design or Textile Technology from a recognized university/institute

Experience

3-6 months internship in the relevant field​
Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational, communication, time-management and interpersonal skills
Computer proficiency with an emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong sketching skills and possessing a positive outlook
