Key purpose of the Job

The Intern – Automation & Innovation will support the design, development, simulation, and implementation of automation solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity. The role involves developing prototype modules, evaluating automation opportunities, and assisting with the successful deployment of solutions from the development stage through to bulk production. By working closely with cross-functional teams, the intern will contribute to improving SMV, reducing manufacturing costs, optimizing throughput time, and driving continuous process improvements within the production environment.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IE and Technical teams to evaluate samples/sketches and develop simplified automation solutions that enhance product construction and manufacturing efficiency.​
  • Design, program, simulate, test, and implement automated machinery and processes, ensuring timely completion for sampling and bulk production requirements.​
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and workshops to align project deliverables with business requirements, ensuring execution within agreed timelines and quality standards.​
  • Drive automation projects from concept to bulk implementation, including project planning, cost estimation, management reporting, and identifying automation opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and throughput.​

Education

DB. Tech /B.Sc. or HND in Mechatronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electronic Engineering (Mechatronics Engineering is preferred)

Experience

Good knowledge in 3D Mechanical designing (Solid works Designing)
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify innovative engineering solutions and work effectively on technical projects
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, coupled with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
