Key purpose of the Job
The Intern - Product Development is responsible for executing the sample development process, including costing and sampling, for the assigned styles. This includes ensuring the timely submission of costings, samples, and T&A plans to maximize profitability while closely coordinating with cross-functional internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the team to develop accurate costings aligned with customer, category, and PLM needs
- Support garment sample planning in line with tech packs, RM ordering, and timelines
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for costing, sampling, and RM ordering
- Work with teams and customers to secure costing, sample, and RM approvals, including bulk handover
- Maintain timely and effective customer communication to secure business
Education
Undergraduate in Fashion Designing/ Clothing Technology/ Business Administration or Marketing
Experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
A good team player with excellent communication skills
