Key purpose of the Job
The Merchandiser - Bulk is responsible for managing the Time and Action (T&A) plan for the assigned orders (category/customer). This entails ensuring the achievement of On-Time Delivery (OTD), Quality, Schedule Attainment, and Profitability objectives in close coordination with cross-functional internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan bulk requirements for assigned orders, including the handover from development, capacity booking.
- Coordinate the effective execution of orders to achieve bulk OTD and Quality objectives.
- Liaise with internal teams and customers regarding bulk requirements, including order progress updates, profitability actions, documentation.
- Manage order amendments, delivery changes, and customer requirements effectively
- Track bulk production progress and proactively address any potential delays
- Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with logistics teams to meet ex-factory dates
- Prepare and share regular order status reports with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for completed orders
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Designing or Clothing Technology or Business Administration or Marketing.
Experience
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the Merchandising function including handling system data entry, shipment advice and booking confirmations
Strong customer negotiation, Communication and management skills
