Key purpose of the Job
As Senior Merchandiser - Product Development, you will be responsible for managing Product development process. This includes costing, sample, Raw Material and color developments, T&A management and development related systems to maximize profitability in close coordination with cross-functional internal teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan the development of the garment sample, based on tech pack specifications, cost expectations, and timelines
- Coordinate with the internal teams and suppliers for sample development and costing as per customer requirements
- Collaborate with the internal teams and customers for relevant approvals, including documentation and hand-over requirements to the Bulk team
- Effective and timely communication with Customer for winning business
Education
Hold an academic/professional qualification in Marketing, Clothing Technology, or any other relevant stream
Experience
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising within the industry.
