Key purpose of the Job

The Executive - Category Management Fabrics is responsible to spearhead the Category Management for the Fabric category by implementing the Category strategy and achieve the Fabric Category Management objectives/ KPIs. This includes supplier consolidation, margin improvement, supplier relationship management, supplier performance management and risk management

The role holder will be a technical expert in the Fabric Category, delivering the assigned responsibility in collaboration with the Key Accounts Group (KAGs)

Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the achievement of strategic sourcing objectives for Key Account Groups, including new supplier identification, supplier evaluation, margin improvement, supplier consolidation, capacity planning, and quality management
  • Be responsible for implementation of supplier performance management and risk mitigation initiatives for Key Accounts Groups
  • Liaise with Key Accounts Groups, cross functional teams and suppliers for achievement of the category objectives
  • Provide MIS, reporting and progress updates on KPIs, category savings, supplier performance dashboards, functional projects as per guidelines

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Textile Technology or Supplies & Materials Management or Business Administration

Experience

5 to 6+ years of relevant experience in the Supply chain function, with strong technical knowledge of raw materials and sourcing practices
