Key purpose of the Job
The Executive – Taxation is responsible for coordinating Group Taxation operations in collaboration with the Group Taxation and Ascent teams. This includes processing tax refunds and credit voucher clearances, submitting tax returns, coordinating tax audits, and managing assigned special initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identification & processing of indirect tax refunds / credit voucher clearances and submission of tax returns, as per procedure
- Coordinate completion of assigned tax audits as per procedure
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including functional coordination, process improvement, and issue resolution
Education
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Management, or a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
Experience
2 to 3+ years of relevant experience, supported by a strong understanding of indirect taxation procedures, audit processes, and regulatory compliance requirements
