Key purpose of the Job
The Manager - Supply Chain is responsible to spearhead the Category Management for the Fabric category by implementing the Category strategy and achieve the Fabric Category Management objectives/ KPIs. This includes supplier consolidation, margin improvement, supplier relationship management, supplier performance management and risk management
The role holder will be a technical expert in the Fabric Category, delivering the assigned responsibility in collaboration with the Key Accounts Groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the achievement of strategic sourcing objectives for Key Account Groups, including new supplier identification, supplier evaluation, margin improvement, supplier consolidation, capacity planning, and quality management
- Responsible for the implementation of supplier performance management and risk mitigation initiatives for Key Account Groups
- Liaise with Key Account Groups, cross-functional teams, and suppliers to achieve category objectives
- Provide Management Information System (MIS) reports and progress updates on KPIs, category savings, supplier performance dashboards, and functional projects, as per guidelines
