Key purpose of the Job

The Deputy General Manager – Finance is responsible for budgeting, forecasting and management reporting of the Key Accounts Groups (KAG). The role holder is also responsible for driving implementation of value creation initiatives in the KAG. Ensuring adherence to governance and internal control systems and addressing deviations is critical to the role holder.

Key Responsibilities:

•Responsible for overseeing and monitoring budgeting process for the KAG
•Monitor and drive achievement of financial targets
•Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders for value creation and LRP projects (waste reduction, cost optimization, expansion, location strategy, etc.)
•Ensure governance and internal control mechanisms are in built at the KAG, monitor and report any deviations
•Lead and manage the team for achievement of the functional objectives

Education

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or a Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

7 to 8+ years of relevant experience with a strong knowledge budgeting, overhead management & financial and management accounting.
