Key purpose of the Job
As Deputy General Manager – Manufacturing is responsible for managing the overall VSM (cutting to finishing) operations for the Plant to ensure the end product is ready for shipment and meets customer specifications.
The role holder is responsible to plan, organize and lead the functions whilst controlling overhead costs in order to achieve budgeted SAH and OTD.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and execute strategy to achieve pre-determined target for the VSM function of the Plant
- Drive achievement of targets across the VSM function (cutting, production and finishing) and ensure quality of product meets customer specifications
- Responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of business objectives
- Responsible for improving overall production output, production capability of the VSM function
- Lead and manage the VSM team
