Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager – Garment Technology is responsible for ensuring the achievement of Technical/Fit & Construction KPIs for the assigned customer category. The role holder collaborates with the customer/buying
house technical teams and internal stakeholders on technical aspects, including style clarifications, development risk assessment, construction validation, pattern making, consumption costing, sample development/approvals, and effective production handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and deploying Technical/Fit & Construction objectives
Driving the technical aspects of Product Development, including risk assessment, construction validation pattern development, consumption costing, and saample development/approvals
Ensuring the achievement of Production Handover/Integration objectives
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve functional KPIs

Education

Possess a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Clothing Technology

Experience

6 to 9+ years of experience in Product Development with a strong exposure to Technical/Fit & Construction concepts and best practices
