Key purpose of the Job
The Deputy General Manager – Product Development collaborates with customer stakeholders and PD, Bulk, and Cross Functional teams to achieve Bulk KPIs, including OTD, Quality, Customer Profitability, and CRI, while also overseeing the administration of the Sample Room and leading the team to achieve the functional KPIs.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for executing the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving the planning processes for Bulk for the assigned customer(s), including order estimation, style-handover from PD, allocation to Supply Chain / Operations, etc.
- Drive synergies with the internal teams and Suppliers for achievement of the OTD, Quality and Capacity KPIs for Bulk
- Responsible for planning and ensuring smooth sample room operations to meet development and bulk sample KPIs and deadlines.
- Responsible for planning and ensuring smooth execution of all embellishment activities to support development and bulk production flawlessly.
- Manage effective Customer relationships for realization of the profitability and CRI deliverables for Bulk
- Collaborate with concerned internal and external stake holders for achievement of functional KPIs
- Lead and manage the team towards achieving the functional objectives
