Key purpose of the Job
The Manager – Industrial Engineer heads the IE function at the Plant. The role holder oversees IE activities related to bulk production including ensuring achievement of PSD and achievement of planned achievement targets for the plant. The role holder ensures skilling of operators and preparation of plant MIS reports.The role holder is also responsible for providing guidance and training to Plant IE team.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to pre-production activities, finalize layout and achieve Production Start Date
- Responsible for achievement of planned efficiency targets for the plant and to ensure skilling of machine operators
- Identify and implement process improvements / new methods to increase efficiency
- Responsible to oversee preparation of various plant MIS reports and ensure accurate computation and timely payment of incentives to operators
- Provide guidance and training to Plant IE team and be responsible for their performance
