Key purpose of the Job
The Machine Maintenance & Automation Lead is responsible for machine maintenance requirements in the
Sample Room. This includes implementation of machine maintenance activities, ensure machine availability,
maintain spares and machine / consumables inventory, implement machine setting & SMV improvement
projects and conduct spot audits. In addition he is responsible for perfect handover.
The role holder is also responsible for identification, bulk implementation, and realisation of automation
projects within the Sample Room to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the
Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and execution of the machine maintenance activities in the Sample Room
- Responsible for implementing machine setting, SMV improvement projects, cost reduction initiatives and conducting spot audits for achieving the functional objectives
- Responsible for planning and execution of internal automation projects
- Prepare and submit MIS, reporting, updates and compliance requirements as per guidelines
- Supervise the team of maintenance staff and associates
