Key purpose of the Job

The Intern – Design will report to the Assistant Manager – Design of the SBU and support the Design team throughout the product development process. You will assist with trend research, concept development, sketching, technical drawing preparation, and sample development. The role also involves creating CADs and BOMs, supporting design-related projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new product ideas to life.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain exposure to the product lifecycle by working with cross-functional teams and understanding the designer's role. ​

  • Assist in trend research, concept development, sketching, and sample development for new product lines. ​

  • Support daily design activities, including creating sketches, tech packs, line sheets, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. ​

  • Provide research, project support, and contribute feedback during team meetings and discussions. ​

  • Create technical CAD sketches using Illustrator and develop Bills of Materials (BOMs).​

Education

Undergraduate in Fashion Designing/Clothing Technology or any other relevant stream

Experience

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with strong sketching abilities
Strong organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills, with excellent English communication
Detail-oriented, positive, and methodical individual who can effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
