Key purpose of the Job

The General Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is responsible for driving Brandix’s CSR strategy and execution across its geographies (Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh), in line with the company’s overall vision and strategy to be a socially responsible organisation. Driving commitment towards creating a sustainable future and supporting communities through Brandix CSR initiatives is key to the role. The role holder is also responsible for driving Brandix’s Sustainability agenda and positioning the organisation as an enabling partner in Sri Lanka’s Sustainability journey amongst key external stakeholders, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Develop an effective CSR agenda encompassing the Green agenda, People agenda and Community agenda in line with Brandix’s overall vision and strategy
2.Deliver the CSR strategy through programs and projects and manage the contracting, budgeting, monitoring, impact measurement and reporting of the same
3.Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of CSR objectives
4.Drive Brandix’s Sustainability agenda and position Brandix as an enabling partner in Sri Lanka’s Sustainability journey amongst key external stakeholders, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
5.Lead and manage the team for achievement of functional objectives

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Mass Media or any other relevant field

Experience

Over 12+ years of relevant experience in CSR & Sustainability
Prior experience with Not-for-profit/CSR functions of large organisations would be advantageous
