Key purpose of the Job
As the Senior Executive – Machine Maintenance, you will be responsible for planning and executing machine maintenance activities across factories and the Sample Room. This includes ensuring machine availability, managing spares and consumables inventory, implementing machine setting and SMV improvement projects, and conducting spot audits. The role also ensures strict adherence to Health & Safety guidelines, instructions, and organizational protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute machine maintenance activities across factories and the Sample Room, ensuring preventive maintenance schedules and timely repairs.
- Ensure machine availability and manage spares inventory to meet production requirements, including adherence to SOPs for procurement and storage.
- Implement machine setting and SMV improvement projects, drive cost reduction initiatives, and optimize machine layouts for efficiency.
- Conduct spot audits and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, customer requirements, and organizational protocols.
- Prepare and manage functional MIS and reporting, including maintenance performance metrics, downtime analysis, and audit findings.
- Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring skill enhancement, adherence to safety protocols, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
