Key purpose of the Job
The Manager - Industrial Engineering is responsible for achieving production efficiency targets (e.g., SMV, SAH) for the assigned lines and sections. This is accomplished through on-time and accurate calculations, Yamazumi chart preparation, line balancing, and effective layout of machinery and manpower. The role-holder is also expected to identify and implement improved methods for SMV reduction and higher efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pre-production activities and achieve the targeted Production Start Date for the assigned section.
- Responsible for achieving planned efficiency and productivity targets and overseeing day-to-day Industrial Engineering activities for assigned sections.
- Responsible for conducting accurate and on-time calculations, such as SAH and efficiency, for each style.
- Provide guidance and training to IE Officers and be accountable for their performance.
