Key purpose of the Job
The Senior Executive - Engineering is responsible for execution of facility maintenance and improvement projects for the plant. The role holder is the plant's main responsible person for the facility and mechanical maintenance function. This includes running the maintenance program for smooth running of plant utilities and processes (building & electrical / fire maintenance, generators, boilers, HVAC, compressors, RWTP, ETP, pumps, production machines). The role holder also supports the Corporate / Centre facility maintenance team for implementation of new plant facility projects. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and execution of facility and mechanical maintenance activities for smooth running of plant utilities / facilities
- Liaise with external authorities for ensuring seamless facility services, adherence to EHS and statutory compliance requirements
- Support Group / Centre facility maintenance team for implementation of new plant facility projects
- Be responsible for functional MIS and reporting, as per guidelines
- Supervise the team of facility maintenance staff and associates
