Key purpose of the Job

The Executive - Counsellor is responsible for improving employee morale, work satisfaction and the psychosocial resilience of employees by addressing their mental health, social and work-related issues. The role holder is responsible for providing confidential counselling services to staff and associates at the factory and works with the HR team to promote harmonious working environment in the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counselling support to staff and associates at the factory.​

  • Maintain up-to-date counselling and training records, reports and present the findings to internal stakeholders, as needed.​

  • Collaborate with relevant factory teams to increase awareness of mental wellness and improve working environment in the factory.​

  • Be a part of the IDEA team and A&H team​

Education

Possess a Degree in Psychology or a relevant field from a recognized university/institute and a Diploma in Counselling.

Experience

2+ years of counselling Experience
High degree of confidentiality and ability to uphold high ethical standards is a must.
Excellent command of English and Sinhala languages. Tamil would be an added advantage.
