Key purpose of the Job
The Executive – Industrial Engineering is responsible for achieving production efficiency targets for assigned lines and sections through accurate SMV calculations, line balancing, yamazumi chart preparation, and effective machinery and manpower layout planning, while identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce SMV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pre-production activities; and achieve targeted Production Start Date for assigned section.
- Responsible to achieve planned efficiency and productivity targets and for day-to-day Industrial Engineering activities for assigned sections.
- Responsible for carrying out accurate and on-time calculations, such as SAH, efficiency for each style.
- Provide guidance and training to IE Officers and be responsible for their performance.
