Key purpose of the Job
Senior Executive – Finance is reporting to the CFO and is responsible for overseeing raw material and WIP inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, inventory accuracy, and working capital efficiency. The role drives inventory analysis, reporting, provisioning, and recovery initiatives while collaborating with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to reduce excess inventory and write-offs. The position also ensures strong inventory governance, compliance, supplier payment accuracy, and liability tracking, while providing actionable insights and leading improvement initiatives to support business performance and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze raw material and WIP inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
- Prepare inventory reports, provisions, and performance analyses to support business decisions and monthly reviews.
- Drive inventory recovery initiatives, including management of excess, defective, and obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve inventory efficiency and reduce write-offs.
- Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments, inventory provisions, and liability tracking.
- Maintain strong inventory governance, compliance, and internal control processes, including stock counts and audits.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, working capital optimization, and inventory improvement projects.
- Support business performance by providing actionable inventory insights and recommendations.
