Key purpose of the Job

The Senior Manager - Supply Chain leads the Sourcing & Procurement teams for assigned customers/customer categories, ensuring raw material availability while achieving supply, cost, inventory, quality, supplier development, and process excellence objectives. Also responsible for complying with organizational Health & Safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for effective planning and deployment of Procurement & Sourcing strategies and implementation plans ​
  • Be responsible for reviewing and ensuring achievement of the sourcing and procurement objectives for the account ​
  • Oversee achievement of procurement objectives, including supply, quality, order optimization, inventory, profitability improvement and SC Excellence ​
  • Drive synergies with suppliers, customers and internal teams for driving achievement of Procurement & Sourcing objectives​
  • Lead and manage the team for achievement of the functional objectives​

Education

Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Textile technology or Supplies and Materials Management or Business Administration

Experience

8 to 10+ years of relevant experience in the Supply chain / Merchandising function, with strong​ exposure to strategic buying, procurement and other related functions​
Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in leading the sourcing or procurement teams​
