Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager - Garment Technology Lead leads the team of Garment Technologists and is responsible for ensuring achievement of the Technical / Fit & Construction KPIs for the assigned customer category. The role holder collaborates with the customer / buying house technical teams and internal stakeholders on the technical aspects including style clarifications, development risk assessment, construction validation, pattern making, consumption costing, sample development / approvals and effective production handover. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for planning and deployment of Technical / Fit & Construction objectives

2. Drive Technical aspects of Product Development, including risk assessment, construction validation, pattern development, consumption costing and sample development / approvals

3. Ensure achievement of Production Handover / Integration objectives

4. Collaborate with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of the functional KPIs 

5. Lead the team of Garment Technologists
