Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager - Industrial Engineering is responsible for achieving production efficiency targets by accurately calculating SMV/SAH, preparing yamazumi charts, balancing production lines, and optimizing machinery and manpower layouts. The role also involves improving methods to reduce SMV and increase efficiency while ensuring compliance with organizational health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in pre-production activities and achieve targeted Production Start Date for assigned section 

  • Responsible to achieve planned efficiency and productivity targets and for day-to-day Industrial Engineering activities for assigned sections  

  • Responsible for carrying out accurate and on-time calculations, such as SAH, efficiency for each style 

  • Provide guidance and training to IE Officers and be responsible for their performance 

Education

Bachelors’ Degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering/ Clothing Technology with GSD Licence or experience in working with GSD system

Experience

4 to 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering​
Hanger Line / Unit Production System (UPS) Management experience will be added advantage.
