Key purpose of the Job

The Manager - Technical & Quality heads the quality and technical function in the factory. The role holder will be responsible for seamless flow of production process, ensure adherence to quality standards and resolution of technical issues.
Further the role holder is also responsible for ensuring perfect handover from product development to bulk production by overseeing the pilot zone. Setting and driving quality standards as per customer requirement is critical to the role holder.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to achieve set targets and implement defined technical and quality objectives for the factory 
2. Responsible for overseeing the pre-production activities and managing efficient transition to bulk-production   
3. Responsible for ensuring identification of quality issues and technical resolution during bulk production
4. Oversee effective implementation of Technical and Quality initiatives and projects across the factory to bring about process improvement
5. Responsible for leading and managing the quality and technical team

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science/Textile Technology or a Diploma in Textile Technology (NDT, SLITA, BCCT) or any other relevant stream

Experience

6 to 9+ years of experience in technical and quality
