Key purpose of the Job

The Senior Manager – Works HR is responsible for maintaining harmonious employee relations and overall administration of personnel activities for staff and associates in the SBU. The role holder is responsible for developing and implementing the Works HR strategy in the SBU across geographies. Maintaining professional relations with government bodies, labour authorities and ensuring statutory compliance is critical to the role holder. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible in executing the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and deploy works HR strategy for the SBU in alignment with the overall business and (Works) HR LRP / objectives 
2. Drive effective implementation of Works HR initiatives in all factories of the SBU
3. Oversee implementation of Group Works HR initiatives in the SBU as well as monitor and ensure compliance with statutory regulations
4. Lead and manage the SBU Works HR team

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with around 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience

Experience

At least 5+ years of experience in leading the Works HR function in large plant is mandatory
A dynamic, self-motivated individual willing to take on challenges.
Excellent communication skills in English.

Be methodical and good at prioritizing work under demanding circumstances.
