Key purpose of the Job

As Senior Merchandiser - Product Development, you will be responsible for managing Product development process. This includes costing, sample, Raw Material and color developments, T&A management and development related systems  to maximize profitability in close coordination with cross-functional internal teams.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan the development of the garment sample, based on tech pack specifications, cost expectations, and timelines.
  2. Coordinate with the internal teams and suppliers for sample development and costing as per customer requirements.
  3. Collaborate with the internal teams and customers for relevant approvals, including documentation and hand-over requirements to the Bulk team.
  4. Effective and timely communication with Customer for winning business.
     

Education

Hold an academic/professional qualification in Marketing, Clothing Technology, or any other relevant stream

ExperiePossess a minimum of 4 years of experience in Merchandising within the industrynce

Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in merchandising within the industry.
Demonstrate effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
Have relevant knowledge of fabric, trims, and garments with various finishes.
Exhibit effective time management, skill prioritization capabilities, and the ability to perform under pressure
Be proactive, assertive, forward-thinking, and take ownership in delivering operational excellence.
Act as a performance-oriented team player.
