Key purpose of the Job
The Merchandiser - Procurement is responsible for optimizing the raw material usage by coordinating the entire procurement process (PO to pay) for the allocated RM category / customer account in the BU, as applicable. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for procurement of raw material, including pre-order confirmation, PO release and RM follow up
2.Ensure achievement of inventory and cost targets for the assigned category / customer account, through optimal ordering, reduction of write-offs and other costs
3.Liaise with the suppliers and concerned internal stakeholders for achievement of OTD, OTT, process adherence and supplier relationship management objectives
4.Prepare MIS, documentation and reporting for functional procurement activities, as per procedure
