Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager - Engineering is responsible for executing facility-related projects and overseeing the operation and maintenance of all facility equipment and systems. The role focuses on optimizing facility performance KPIs and managing capex/opex across India region. It includes handling electrical and mechanical maintenance of BIAC Park (WTP, ETP, power substations, etc.) and BAI units, ensuring smooth preventive and breakdown maintenance, efficient spares procurement, and adherence to SOPs. 
The Lead also drives standardization, improvement initiatives, and supports new installations and regional projects while building a motivated, performance-driven maintenance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Responsible for planning and deployment of the Maintenance Management/ Facility Engineering KPIs, budgets, action plans, improvement projects, etc for the assigned units (BIAC & India Region)
2.    Oversee effective Mechanical Maintenance/Facility Engineering requirements, including preventive, break-down, improvements, spares procurement, AMC renewals, installations, new project support, etc.
3.    Oversee effective Electrical Maintenance/ Facility Engineering requirements for the utilities, power networks, sub-stations, installations, new projects, etc.
4.    Manage relationships with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of the functional objectives 
5.    Research and Development for Innovative products and Technology
6.    Lead and Manage the team
