Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager - Projects leads the Projects pillar and is responsible for overseeing implementation of Construction projects (new / expansions / renovations) for the BIAC Park, Non Brandix Projects, Regional Mini projects, Expansion projects within the Region and assigned CSR Projects.
This includes project identification, cost estimation, conceptualization & design, approvals, working with internal and external stakeholders, execution, guiding the team of project Engineers for achievement of project deliverables, liaising with the consultants and the contractors, hand-over and initial handholding (civil / maintenance support/ Electrical/ Fire systems/ Centralized AC systems…etc) for the concerned projects.
Acts as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the new / existing clients in BIAC Park and Region.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for Maintenance management in Non-Processing zone Residencies (Villas, Hostels and Apartments) and place the robust maintenance service support structure with Computerized Analytical tools to improve the service and assets condition on year on Year.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Responsible for planning and deployment of the Project deliverables, including projects identification, budgets, timelines, SLAs, PMC deliverables, etc. for Brandix, non-Brandix new projects, Regional Mini Projects (mini-Expansions within the Region)
2.    Oversee the Project conceptualization, design and regulatory approvals, including building, fire, electrical, etc for Brandix, non-Brandix new projects, Regional Mini Projects (mini-Expansions within the Region)
3.    Drive seamless Project execution and hand-over, including master project schedules, project contractors / vendor SLAs management, reviews of key project milestones, budget monitoring, documentation, hand-over requirements, etc
4.    Drive synergies with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of the Project objectives
5.    Responsible for Maintenance management in Non-Processing Zone residencies and facility equipment
6.    Lead and Manage the Projects team 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

12 to 15+ years’ experience in leading implementation and commissioning of green field & brown field industrial projects.
