Key purpose of the Job
The Senior Executive - Occupational Health & Safety is responsible for implementing the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Internal Control Framework and compliance requirements for the concerned plant location. Includes OHS operational controls, implementation of health & safety processes, monitor adherence to health & safety standards by employees and contractors/ outsourced staff, health & safety training, coordinating safety committee meetings and conducting OH&S audits for compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing OHS Internal Control Framework at site level and govern it to achieve OHS excellence.
- Implement OHS improvement programs targeting to achieve interdependent OHS culture at the business (Brandix location)
- Work with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of plant OH&S objectives, including MIS and reporting as per guidelines
- Play a vital role in crisis management and business continuity during epidemic/ pandemic situations
