Key purpose of the Job
The Intern- Fabric Technology role is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials developed and sourced by the SBU meet the required quality standards and specifications of each assigned customer on the first attempt. This includes conducting mill evaluations, risk assessments, and pre-production meetings with technical validations to align and onboard suppliers with Brandix processes. The role also involves ensuring supplier alignment and compliance with customer-specific quality standards and CP requirements. Additionally, you will oversee lab dips and bulk submission approval mechanisms to ensure timely delivery while sustaining smooth back-end manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify new raw materials, yarn, and fabric constructions from both regional and global sources, and validate their capability and reliability in alignment with Brandix and its supply chain strategies

Ensure that raw material submissions from sources align with customer specifications and maintain seamless communication for any justification or changes required by the customer

Manage color requirements effectively, meet supplier deadlines, follow up on delays, and engage with external mills on new developments

Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
