Key purpose of the Job
As an Intern – Operations, you will be reporting to the Manager - Operations. Your job role is to conduct research and statistical analysis through maintenance of records/dashboards of each operational undertaking, and to communicate data and information to the Management as MIS and work closely with production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the shipment handling process by coordinating with plants and the logistics team to ensure smooth operations.
- Approve shipment advice, determine shipment modes (FCL/LCL), and manage loading plans for split shipments.
- Arrange and monitor container movements, vehicle plans, and delivery locations while managing the EDI system.
- Ensure timely documentation, including shipment forecasts, BOI verification, M3 system updates, and ASN completion.
- Confirm export transport and embellishment vehicle costs while overseeing general item requests and collections.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics /Clothing Technology or NDT
Experience
Analytical skills, logical thinking and a Mathematical background
Computer literacy with special reference to MS Office (Power BI & PowerPoint)
Having a passion to develop the career in field of apparel industry
