Key purpose of the Job

The Manager - Planning is responsible for the overall planning of all orders for the assigned customer(s) or customer category, driving the topline target for the customer(s). The role-holder finalizes plans based on order projections and forecasts, order confirmations, and available capacity and reports to the Manager Planning. The job holder is also responsible for managing the Time & Action (T&A) of the orders and ensuring order fulfillment meets customer expectations and On-Time Delivery (OTD) standards. Additionally, the Planning Manager is expected to drive improvements in the planning process, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the planning process for assigned customer(s) or customer category, covering both current and future orders
  2. Monitor adherence to the PPC Calendar, Frozen Plan, and Factory Plans, and address deviations in line with established guidelines
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional deliverables
  4. Provide guidance and training to planning teams within the assigned product category, and take responsibility for their performance

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Clothing Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

Experience

6 to 9+ years of experience in Planning function with strong experience in implementation of planning improvement projects and exposure to best practices
A self-starter and proactive go-getter with a performance-driven mindset and the ability to take ownership in delivering operational excellence
