Key purpose of the Job

The Senior Fabric Technologist is responsible for managing fabric technology processes, including raw material development and price negotiations for assigned performance wear customers and categories.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Responsible for executing fabric technology processes for raw material development, including mill evaluations, risk assessments, fabric testing, fabric pricing, and customer approvals
2.   Implement assigned functional initiatives for fabric development and sourcing, including supply chain management, supplier relationship management (SRM), and profitability improvement
3.   Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve functional objectives

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or physical science or Textile technology or any other relevant stream

Experience

1 to 3+ years of relevant experience in the Fabric Technology function, with strong technical knowledge of raw materials and fabric technology processes

Exposure to specific techniques, such as bonding and seam sealing etc
