Key purpose of the Job
The Merchandiser - Graphic Development is responsible for executing embellishment development initiatives for the assigned customer categories. They coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers for sample development in line with the T&A and other assigned initiatives, including supplier development, profitability, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding the embellishment techniques requirements and develop with embellishment plants
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal stake holders, including critical path management for development, strike off approvals, etc
- Prepare documentation and reporting for functional initiatives, including execution of assigned improvement projects
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Designing or Clothing Technology or any other relevant stream
Experience
1 to 3+ years of relevant experience in the merchandising function.
Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva and CAD with a strong understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques and pattern making
